Western Longhorn Skull Necklace – Handmade Polymer Clay Pendant
The skull of a longhorn steer has hung on western walls for centuries as a symbol of something untameable. This is that symbol, hand-sculpted and worn close.
Katie shaped this pendant from polymer clay — a medium that lets her capture fine detail a cast mold never could. The longhorn's brow, the curve of the horns, the hollow of the eye sockets: every line is intentional. It rides on a simple black cord so nothing competes with the piece itself.
Inspired by years spent on Arizona trails and a deep love of Tombstone-era western history. Handmade one at a time in Radford, Virginia.
